Renovate, Rearrange, Reformat
By Thomas Ward
You may notice that I haven’t uploaded a video today. This is because I am currently working on rearranging my home office, in order to create a more visually appealling setup for viewers of “The Mind of Ward”. I feel that the current video setup, which consists solely of myself and a computer screen, left the room feeling empty and leaving the audience feeling bored. Hopefully, the next video setup will change that.
I also intend to reformat each episode of “The Mind of Ward”, in an effort to make each video seem more professional. I will be working for the next day or so on an animated intro for each episode, and will be filming each episode in three segments: a 30 second intro, two minute review, and a 30 second outro. I will also be working on creating an opening title sequence and end credits with the help of Adobe’s Flash software application.
I hope you can understand my reasoning as to these decisions, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. As this process continues, I will attempt to film YouTube videos using my Logitech webcam, as to keep my viewers informed about the status of this major undertaking.
Do you have any suggestions as to how I could make my show more visually appealing? Perhaps you have some interior design tips or tricks you would like to share? Perhaps you know a thing or two about video editing, and would like to work with me on the opening sequence or end credits? If so, feel free to email me at themindofward@gmail.com, or just leave a comment below!
